The exhibition was held at the SMX Convention Center from July 27-30. The NSTW is a celebration of Filipino genius and ingenuity in the field of science and technology. It describes the latest breakthroughs which have been made in the Philippine science community. The exhibition was graced by none other than President Benigno S. Aquino III himself. Read MORE | | Malaysian Telecentre.org Academy makes its debut | Source: www.telecentre.org After a year long discussion and planning between stakeholders in Malaysia, Telecentre.org Academy officially made its presence in Malaysia on July 26, 2011 as it held a Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop for the Certificate in Telecentre Management (CTM) course soon to be offered to telecentre managers in Malaysia. The workshop is the result of a multistakeholder partnership between the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) Malaysia, Open University Malaysia (OUM), and Telecentre.org Foundation, and is expected to benefit 100 telecentre managers nationally. The three-day ToT workshop, which is held from the 26th to the 28th of July 2011 at OUM, will instruct 11 trainers in delivering the CTM course to the first two batches of learners. Workshop participants were identified and recruited from recommendations of EPU, OUM, TCF. The ToT workshop is facilitated by the two National Academic Counselors (Ybg Datin Dr Norizan Razak of UKM & Prof Abtar Kaur of OUM). The trainers are Pn. Zarina Bt.
