|  Asia Pacific Telecentre Network (APTN) will hold a planning Meeting with their resource persons to discuss the network's agenda for the year of 2012. The Meeting will take place on November 30 and December 3 at the 5th eAsia Conference in Bangladesh. The meeting is supported by the Telecentre.org Foundation and ICT Agency of Sri Lankan. The meeting aims to discuss and come to a conclusion on how telecentre networks/stakeholders in the Asia Pacific Region can benefit from APTN and contribute to understanding on how resources can be mobilized overcoming the current operating challenges. It is expected that meeting will brainstorm with APTN telecentre leaders of countries in the Asia Pacific region and to assist in preparation of an action plan for the enhancement of the telecentre networks in the region and to strengthen APTN. |

 7th Knowledge Exchange Conference: Self-reliant CeCs for Self-reliant communities The 7th Knowledge Exchange Conference on Community eCenters (KEC 7) marked the successful conclusion of a vision that shaped the CeC landscape of the country and the start of a new journey towards self-reliance.Approximately 350 delegates, the biggest KEC number yet, joined the annual knowledge exchange tradition, held from November 22-23 in Baguio City.
